You'll learn the technical skills you need for this demanding trade at our dedicated Gas & Plumbing Technology Centre based in Kempston, with a range of specialist facilities that recreate the real working environments you’ll encounter when pursuing your plumbing career. Approved by industry bodies including City & Guilds and the British Plumbing Employers Council (BPEC), our facilities and study programmes provide the very latest knowledge of traditional gas and plumbing techniques and state-of-the-art renewable technologies.

There are also 21 plumbing bays and 12 airing cupboard spaces, steel pipe area, an unvented hot water training area and an integrated gas assessment centre as well as gas cookers, fires, boilers, heaters and domestic appliances.

Plumbing Apprenticeships
We also offer the following apprenticeships Plumbing & Domestic Heating Apprenticeship Level 3 and Gas Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3. To be eligible for an apprenticeship you must either be employed on a full-time contract by an employer willing to support your training or have an offer of employment as an apprentice.
