Taste of Travel – Working Abroad

Like the idea of working abroad but don’t know where to start? Then Taste of Travel is for you! This Working Abroad course is designed to give you a brief introduction to career opportunities working overseas in Travel & Tourism. You will be introduced to different overseas opportunities and employers, along with what they are looking for, as well as jobs as a resort rep and working on a cruise ship. Following this course you can apply or enrol on to a more detailed course to gain a full qualification.

Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements but you will need to have a genuine interest in working within the industry.

Course content

You will focus on the following areas during the course:

  • Working as a rep
  • Working on a cruise ship
  • Working abroad – job opportunities.

Assessment methods

You will be assessed on the course by short answer questions or a multiple choice test.


You will gain the following qualification:

College Certificate Taste of Travel – Working Abroad

Further study and career options

On successful completion of this course you can study towards another qualification such as: NCFE Resort Reps, NCFE Cabin Crew, or NCFE Aviation Operations on the Ground.
