Wired Sugar Flowers ABC Level 2 Certificate

If you are interested in developing your skills and knowledge in flower modelling this course is for you.

Entry requirements

You must have completed the Wired Sugar Flowers Level 1 Award. However if you already have experience of flower modelling you may be able to start at Level 2.

Course content

This course will cover:

  • Modelling a variety of wired and unwired flowers
  • Colouring
  • Steaming
  • Glazing
  • Taping
  • Wiring
  • Use of Tools
  • Health and Hygiene
  • Basic Exploratory Introduction to Design

Assessment methods

There is no final examination, but you will be continuously assessed throughout the course by your tutor and your results will be externally verified.

Further study and career options

Successful completion of these courses will enable you to pursue flower modelling to a high level, be it for teaching, exhibition work, working in industry or purely for personal achievement.

Additional information

Protective clothing must be worn in the classroom.
