Equality & Diversity NCFE Level 2 Certificate

This course aims to promote equality and diversity in order to make students more socially aware. It is an effective and insightful way to strengthen employees' knowledge on best practice. The course is completed by distance learning enabling you to gain a new qualification whilst working. You will have access to specialist support from dedicated tutors throughout the programme.

Course content

Within this course you will explore; what equality is, what diversity means, the effects of stereotyping and labelling, the effects of prejudice and discrimination and the ways in which people might choose to describe themselves. You will also look at the extent of diversity within society, the value to communities in creating and maintaining a diverse environment, the potential inequality that can occur within a community, the support services and groups that exist within a community to ensure equality and diversity is maintained

Assessment methods

Learners can choose to work either with online assessments or via printed workbooks.

Additional information

Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be charged if learners do not complete the course within the allocated 16 weeks.
