Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting NPTC Level 2 Award Refresher (CS30)

This course will help you to update your skills in the principles of chainsaw operation. There are three sections to the course – the first covers health and safety, the second maintenance and the third covers operation. All updates are in line with ACOP’s (AFAG/FISA).


Entry requirements

You will need to have the Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in order to start the course.

Course content

The key areas of learning are updates to health and safety, machine maintenance and operation/cross-cutting.

Additional information

You must bring a chainsaw which is in good condition (no missing screws, bolts or safety features). A full maintenance kit must be included as well as oil and fuel.
